Privacy policy
What we collect when you send us a franchise application or an enquiry, and what we do with it. Last updated 20 August 2026.
We are a food company, not a data business. We collect the least we can get away with, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
Franchise applications. Your name, email, phone number, country and city, the territory you are interested in, and whatever you tell us about your background and timeline.
Other enquiries. Suya Fest hosting, foundation partnerships, media and supply enquiries all use the same form and collect the same contact details.
Suya Fest notifications. Your email address and your city, and nothing else. You can leave the list from any email we send.
Website analytics. Standard anonymous traffic data: pages visited, rough location, device type. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to identify you.
How we use it
To assess and answer your franchise application, to reply to your enquiry, to tell you when a Suya Fest is announced near you if you asked, and to keep the website working.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
Suya Fest notification emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe. Franchise applications are kept for our business, legal and tax records, including where an application does not proceed, because franchise disclosure carries statutory record-keeping obligations.
When we no longer need something, we delete it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Call or email and we will handle it. No forms, no runaround.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
